Well, I meant to do a 6 months post of Reece, but that didn't happen. So I was going to do a 7 months post. Too bad he is already 8 1/2 months old, and I'm just now getting to post on the blog. I have plenty of Kleenex to dry your tears (I really do).
Let's just jump right in and go about this as a complete hodge podge of random photos and events.
He got his first 2 bottom teeth at 5 1/2 months.
At 6 months.
Well, hello there! I don't really remember when he actually started crawling. He was army crawling and fishy swimming to get all over the place for such a long time that the transition never registered. It was around 6-7 months. I'm such a great mom.
Valentine's Day: The day I hate (and have always hated) for myself, but love it for the kids and others.
I thought the boys Valentines this year were adorable. I'm just going to lead you to believe that I came up with this idea all by myself and that we made them entirely from scratch...
Up close.
Treats I made for Cade's preschool class (which he started in January and loves! Just 2 days a week for 3 hours helps me be a better mom), the next door neighbors, ladies I visit teach, Grandma and Grandpa, and Nonni and Papa.
We go simple for the kids; after all, we just had Christmas for crying out loud! A balloon for each boy and a big bag of suckers for Cade.
What is that?!
Always sucking in that lip.
Found him standing up in his crib the day after he turned 7 months. Ever since, he pulls himself to a stand against everything. Not a fan of the falling and hitting his big, bald head on the floor all the time.
I caught Reece doing this one day. I have no idea where it came from, but we died laughing. Turn the volume up so you can hear.
I'm such a sucker for matching outfits for siblings. Spouses is creepy. But matching kids make me oodle and melt all over.
Cade's 2nd hair cut. So handsome:)
Matchy, matchy! More melting!
One of Chase's co-workers sold us their bike trailer for super, super cheap! Cade loves it!
What I really love is to watch Cade and Reece interact now that Reece is older. Naturally, Cade doesn't always want him touching his stuff, but when Cade's in the mood, he'll give Reece toys and try to get Reece to play with him. Sometimes he tells me, "Baby Reece wants to play with me." Which means that he wants Reece in his room. So I'll put Reece in Cade's room, and when Reece starts getting fussy and has had enough, I'll go to get him and Cade will get upset and pitifully say, "No, Baby Reece wants to play with me." Cade loves to make Reece laugh. (And so do I.) Cade also gets terribly upset when he thinks Reece is getting in trouble. For example, when Reece will not sit still to eat his baby food and keeps turning in his seat trying to get out (because being still is obviously not humanly possible for either of my children EVER, even when they are hungry. I will never understand that), I get frustrated and will say that Reece is done. Cade will get surprisingly upset and almost in a panic say, "No, Mommy!! He's not done eating! He has to eat all of his food!" He is very concerned about his little brother. He talks to Reece so sweetly when he is upset and say, "It's okay Baby Reece, I'm right here." (Unless it goes on forever and ever and then he'll yell, "Reece stop fussing!"). But 90% of the time, he is such a sweet big brother.
These little monsters are going to keep our house wild for sure.

Thank you so much for the update! Reece is getting so big and is a cutie pie! Miss you! And I can't believe how big Cade is.
Oh DEAR... Cade laughing in that first video melts me!! Christian used to blow 'raspberries' on everything. He would make the loudest ones on his chubby little arm right in the middle of Sacrament, classic!
